What an OUTSTANDING meet y’all had yesterday Tideriders!!!! SAMSON made it the whole length of the pool without a helper in the water and finished with a smile!! CAMERON fought hard to finish her 25 free with a smile too!! We shaved time off of so many events!! Some HUGE improvements we saw yesterday include ALAYAH chopped 29 seconds off her 50 free time!! LIAM chopped over 18 seconds off his 50 free!! CARTER chopped almost 12 seconds off his 59 free!! ELIJAH chopped over 11 seconds off her 59 free!! Some more improvements included JACK cut nearly 6 seconds off his 25 free!! HENRY cut 8 seconds off his 25 free!! ZOE cut almost 2 seconds off her 25 free and almost 5 seconds off her 25 back!! FRANCESCA cut nearly 3 seconds off her 25 free and almost 2 seconds off her 25 back!! SOPHIA cut more than 2 seconds off her 25 free!! MADDIE cut almost 3 seconds off her 50 breast and 4 seconds off her 50 back!! YANI cut almost 6 seconds off her 50 free!! LILLIAN cut almost 3 seconds off her 50 free, trimmed some time off her 50 back, and almost 2 seconds off her 50 fly!! CADY cut 2 seconds off her 50 free and 2 seconds off her 50 back JULIA trimmed some time off her 50 free, 5 seconds off her 50 breast, and 1.5 seconds off her 50 back!! SHAWN cut 2 seconds off his 59 back!! BELLA trimmed time off her 50 fly!! Our RELAY was 4 seconds faster than expected also!! THATS MORE THAN 2 MINUTES AND 12 seconds of improvements combined!!!!! Y’all were flying through the pool!!! ALEXI swam her first race ever!! ZOE, FRANCESCA, ELIJAH and CADY raced in breast for their first time!! ELIJAH and ALAYAH raced backstroke for the first time!! HENRY also raced backstroke for the first time (TWICE bc coach wasn’t paying close attention and accidentally told him to go early 🤦♀️) I can’t wait to see what you guys do Thursday!! We have some exciting new events for some swimmers and some more chances to learn and grow together!!
