About Us
Welcome to Tideriders! We’re a team that believes swimming should be fun, supportive, and encouraging for everyone — no matter your age or experience. Our focus isn't only winning races, but on building confidence, learning new skills, and being kind teammates. We cheer each other on, treat other teams with respect, and always do our best to grow together. Tideriders is a great place to make friends, stay active, and enjoy the water in a positive, welcoming environment.
If you are a new swim team family please read the "minimum skill requirement" section and "trial weeks" section for more information.
Elizabeth Lake Tideriders welcome swimmers of all ability levels to join our summer swim team. If you have a swimmer with special needs that requires a one-on-one helper in the pool, we ask that your swimmer come to each practice/swim meet with that personal one-on-one helper. The Tideriders team is not equipped to provide individual one-on-one support for our swimmers with special needs.
Minimum Skill Requirement
Each swimmer must be able to swim the length of the pool without stopping, holding onto the side, holding onto a lane line, or touching the bottom of the pool by Time Trials. The swimmer can use any stroke. The coaches are not staffed for one-on-one swim lessons. If the swimmer is not able to meet this minimum requirement, we recommend lessons. Our coaches are often available to provide one-on-one private swim lessons outside of normal practice time.
Trial Weeks / Refund Policy
