Good morning Tideriders!

Happy Fathers Day and Happy Graduation to those graduating this weekend!!! Hope everyone had a good weekend and stayed safe from the crazy storms.

Here are a few updates for this upcoming week.

We have our first HOME swim meet this Monday! Please have your swimmer there no later than 4:45pm, we begin warm ups at 5:00pm sharp. 

Swim suits should be black. If you payed for a swim cap and have not received, the coaches will have them Monday.

Thank you to the board for putting a new plan together for concessions. We will have a new food item for Monday, PIZZA! This may even turn into a new sponsorship opportunity❤️. Thank you to the Board and Victoria for putting this plan together last week!!!

We have volunteer roles available for sign up in Swimtopia. Please sign up by Monday morning to help us plan appropriately for Monday nights meet. It takes 19 people from a home team to run a meet. If you are unsure of what role would work best for you, please reach out! Quick note- Ribbon writers/Score Keepers/Sweep Judge sit most of meet, Runners do a lot of walking, concessions is a bit of both with lots of people time, all of these roles will allow you to take a minute to watch your swimmer.

We hold practices on meet days, please attend as this is a great way for the swimmers to work on a stroke/start before that evening’s meet.

Thursday is an away meet. The volunteer needs are less than a home meet but still critical to holding a meet. Approx 15 roles are needed for the visiting team. We ask that all swimmers be there at 5:00pm sharp for warm ups. Address for the Riverdale pool - 810 Charlton Dr, Hampton, VA 23666 

If weather is a potential impact, we will post updates in Swimtopia and the FB page. We do try to make the decision with the other team and try toupdate no later than 3. Virginia weather is not fun to predict😐.
