Tideriders Swim Meets this week 6.21 and 6.23
Hello Tideriders!
I apologize for the additional email communication! We are preparing for our upcoming meets and wanted to remind all that we have several volunteer roles open for tomorrows Away Meet as well our Home Meet on Thursday evening. Some of these roles require some training, however that training is pre-recorded and can be watched at your discretion. If you complete the online training, please confirm with myself or Victoria Mitchell as we have to notify GPSA.
First, we want to thank those that have signed up for this weeks meets!!! These Swim Meets need lots of hands to get the work done. I will also say, if you are new, we have lots of parents on our team and the other teams that will help you.
-For our Away Meet at Glendale, we still have Clerk of Course, Score Keeper and Stroke and Turn. In addition, the Glendale Starter is sick and is unable to make the meet, so if anyone on our team wants to jump in and help it would be greatly appreciated. It will give you the opportunity to practice this new skill set :)
For our Home Meet this Thursday, we still have Referee, Ribbon Writer, Score Keeper, Starter, Stroke and Turn and 2 Timers.
Below are the role descriptions we have posted on the website, with Stroke and Turn, Starter and Referee requiring some online training.
