Hello Tideriders!
I hope everyone had a wonderful week and is looking forward to our upcoming first Swim Meets!  We have a few reminders and updates for this coming week.

1) We begin morning practices this week, starting tomorrow we practice 7:30 - 9:00am Monday thru Friday.  We do hold practices on the same day as Swim Meets.

2) We have our first Swim Meet this Tuesday, June 21st, at the Glendale Pool.  Their address is 53 Minton Dr. Newport News 23606.  Please arrive no later than 5pm for warm ups and volunteer pre-meet meeting.  If you have not signed up for a volunteer role, please do so prior to 6pm, Monday June 20th.   This will help us ensure we have ample support to run this meet.  

3) We then host our first home meet on Thursday, June 23rd.  
Please arrive no later than 4:30pm for warm ups and volunteer pre-meet meeting.
  If you have not signed up for a volunteer role, please do so prior to 6pm Wednesday, June 22nd.

4) We are still waiting on swim caps.  Please use whatever cap you have until our Tiderider caps arrive.

5) We have the official training posted on our main page, if you have taken the training please confirm with myself and/or Victoria Mitchel so we can ensure you are listed with GPSA.  You can also find the training on the GPSA website

6) We are anticipating T-shirts will be available this week.  More details will be communicated from our Activities coordinator this week.

7) We have our Swim Team pictures this Friday morning, June 24th.  We will take individual photos starting at 7:30am and then take our team photo at 8am.  

8) We are having some challenges with the Swimtopia site regarding Swim Meet set up.  If your child is not listed, please let the Coaches know so we can follow up on our end.  We are working with Swimtopia and our host swim team to figure how to handle if this is not resolved prior to Tuesday afternoon.
