Happy Friday Tideriders!
Our first swim meet is next Tuesday at Glendale. Please make sure you click on the meet in swimtopia to register your swimmer for the meet, and sign up for a volunteer role if possible.

Since it is an away meet it will give new families a chance to see how a meet runs without filling quite as many volunteer roles. However, each team has a few positions they are responsible for. We are still in need of a few more volunteers for Tuesday's meet: stroke and turn judge (required to watch a short training video to sign up) ribbon writer, score keeper, (both seated usually shady positions) a sweep judge (marks the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th place finishes for each heat) and one more timer.

In addition to the stroke and turn judge, we will also need a starter and referee for our home meets. These positions sound more intimidating than they are. If you are able to help please watch the required training video here:
