Hello Parents,

We are so happy to hear some of the feedback and glad to hear that everyone had a good first swim practice!! A recap of some of the information stated this evening and some important information that we forgot to mention. 

We enjoyed seeing our board members tonight and we have some new board members to introduce Terri Meyer- volunteer coordinator and Vanessa Smetlzer- special events coordinator. Thank you for volunteering!!! We are still in need of a GPSA rep, so if interested please contact either myself or Elizabeth.

We really appreciate all of your communication. With this being said, if you know your swimmer is not going to be at a swim meet please declare it in swimtopia. If your swimmer will not attend practice please let the coaches know. Also, if your are interested in the possibility of an evening practice after school gets out please let us know so we can get a consensus of all those interested. 

Swim suits will be all black this year and can be found on swimoutlet.com. Swim outlet does have size charts  available online, if you are unsure which size to select.  Any type of all black swim suit is fine and if you are in need to try on swim suits there is a swim and sport stop located in Newport News. 

Inclement weather will be posted on our Facebook site if we need to cancel practice. If there is nothing posted, please plan on attending and we will address it on a need be basis. 

Look out for messages by email and Facebook about picture day, time trials, and other coordinated events with our team. 

Once again this summer will be based on volunteering and we want to thank each and every one of you in advance.  

And finally,  thank you to Elizabeth Palmore for the hot chocolate, as it was definitely comforting on this chilly evening!! See all swimmers tomorrow evening at 630!
